Coating is one of the most critical processes in the entire aluminium coil coating production line. The quality of the coated product, especially the quality of the appearance, directly affects the decorative effect of the product. 1、Raw material paint, and aluminium coil, is the biggest factor affecting the quality of coating, if there are the following problems: colour difference between paint batches, insufficient paint fineness, low coating rate, poor paint and solvent cooperation, delamination, etc., they will directly affect the coating effect and produce defects, resulting in uneven aluminium coil substrate, uneven film thickness, poor edge deflection. 2、The powder coating line requires the coating equipment to be in good condition, the coating equipment is required to run smoothly without horizontal or vertical shaking, and the coating rollers are required to be finely ground. The horizontal runout of all rollers of the coating machine must be controlled within the allowed range, otherwise it will seriously affect the quality of the coating surface.

3、The coating process is closely related to the quality of the coating. It is required that the relative linear speed ratio of the coating rollers, paint rollers, metering rollers and the substrate is controlled within a certain range. The paint should be set in a certain viscosity range according to the different systems and film thickness of the product to be coated to ensure smooth painting and promote the quality of the product.

The curing process and oven control of the paint must be controlled as required and must not be altered at will, otherwise it will seriously affect the colour difference and performance of the painted products.

 

4、The environment requires clean, dustproof and insect-proof painting rooms with certain ventilation performance to ensure that the quality of the painted surface is not polluted. At the same time, the process conditions are changed in due course due to temperature changes. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the working environment meets the standards and is cleaned regularly.

 

5、Human factors: the responsibility of the operator, technical proficiency, and the standardization of operation are the keys to obtaining quality painting results. Managers should do the following

-Each piece of equipment should have a person in charge, foreman, adjuster or operator, mobile maintenance personnel should check the operation of the equipment regularly every shift and keep records.

- There should be a maintenance plan for the main key equipment and regular maintenance should be carried out.
