Tube Mill or Pipe Production Line Process
First, stainless steel strips undergo various quality checks and edge trimming. The strips then pass through a series of rollers to form the required size. In the tube mill, these strips are gradually shaped into tubes. The fitted welding machine welds the trim edges, converting the strips into welded pipes and tubes.
The Cleaning and Heating Phase of the Welded Tube Mill Line
The manufactured stainless steel pipes are cut to the required lengths, cleaned to remove any dirt, and then heat-treated to remove welding stresses. This heat treatment, performed in a continuously rolling hearth furnace with temperature controllers, ensures durability. Subsequently, the pipes are straightened and pickled to remove surface scales.
Cold-Drawing Process in Roll Forming Mill
If the desired sizes are not obtained directly from the mill, a cold-drawing process is employed. Here, tubes or pipes are coated with an oxalic and soap solution to act as a lubricant, reducing friction during the cold-drawing operation.
Finishing Process in Square Pipe Mill Steel Tube Manufacturing Machines
Post drawing, the tubes are cleaned, heat-treated, pickled, and straightened again. Computerized inkjet marking machines are then used to label the finished tubes or pipes.
Working Flow of Welding Pipe Mill Machine:
Raw material (steel coil) → uncoiling → shearing and butt-welding → material accumulating → non-power leveling → mill-forming → high-frequency welding → removing burrs outside the weld seam → Zinc spraying → cooling → sizing → roughly straightening → fixed-length cutting → run-out table
