High temperatures in summer, how to set the chiller water tank temperature

With the arrival of summer, the temperature has reached a high temperature of 30°C, but the air conditioners in every household are already working.

With the advent of high temperatures in summer, of course, machinery and equipment also need to be equipped with chillers for cooling. So how should the equipment be installed when the temperature of the equipment is high in the hot summer? What temperature range should be set appropriately?

Industrial Water Cooled Scroll Chiller

1. The temperature control range of conventional chillers is between 5℃-35℃. When adjusting the temperature control range of conventional chillers, the minimum temperature should be set at 5°C, and the maximum temperature equipment should be set at 30°C. This is currently the most conventional temperature control range. Some customers also require a minimum temperature of 3°C, which needs to be communicated and confirmed in advance.

Conventional chiller

2. The temperature control range of the low-temperature chiller is -5℃~-10℃, -20℃, -30℃, 45℃, etc. Low-temperature chillers use different compressors, components, and refrigerants than conventional chillers.

Low temperature chiller temperature

3. The ultra-low temperature chiller is completely different from the above, using a two-element cascade or three-element cascade refrigeration system. , can provide temperatures below -45°C, and even lower temperature ranges.

Ultra-low temperature chiller

In fact, every chiller has a control panel, but different types of chillers will have different control panels and different settings. Please read the instruction manual carefully before use.
