Description

The refined microstructure within the Hyper wear plate overlay is built on a "micro-carbide" system, combining the enhanced wear resistance and impact resistance of martensitic and chromium carbide deposits into a single plate.

Hyster wear plate can be bolted or welded onto equipment in high wear areas to boost wear resistance. Additionally, Hyster can custom-fabricate wear plates to meet your specific needs.

Micro-Structure: A combination of high-volume hexagonal-shaped chromium carbide within robust austenitic & martensitic metals.

Penetration to the base metal: 1.5mm. Cold forming: Minimum Radius: 150mm (for 6+4). Suggested: using a hydraulic press to bend plate. Cutting: Plasma (from the backing plate side), Laser Cutting, Water Jet Knife.

I) Hardness: HRC >= 58 (HB >= 600).

II) Chemistry: 3.5 to 6.5% C, 15 to 35% Cr, 1.0 to 2.5% Mn, 0.7 to 2.0% Si.

III) Microstructure: Refined austenitic chromium carbide alloy containing 30-50% carbides.

Hyster White Iron Wear Block (700BHN-63HRC) - A range of products based on a composite white iron wear surface that is metallurgically bonded to a weldable mild steel backing plate. These overlay plates are suitable for fixed and mobile plant equipment in the construction, mining, and resource industries, particularly iron ore, coal, cement, and steel applications.

Hyster NiHard - This product is abrasion and high-impact resistant. It is often cast into billets and liners and extensively used in the mining, construction, and mineral processing industries, especially in bulk handling situations.

Hyster Tungsten Carbide - A high standard abrasion-resistant product often used in applications with little to no impact force.
