Particularity of the Use of Strain Clamp

Want more information on bolt type strain clamp? Feel free to contact us.

The strain clamp is a metal component used to connect the transmission line tower, the wire, the lightning conductor and the insulator, or to protect the wire, the lightning conductor, the insulator and the like.

Basic requirements: Preformed Rods are generally made of cast steel and malleable cast iron. It is required that the line fittings should have sufficient mechanical strength to have good electrical properties for a part of the fittings connecting the conductors. In the manufacturing process, the line fittings should be free of burrs, traps, traps, and cracks. The surface should be smooth and the galvanized layer should be uniform.

The matching fittings should be of suitable specifications, no missing parts, no rust, and the screws and nuts should be well matched. The contact surface between the hull plate and the wire should be smooth, and the manufacturing quality and size should conform to the national standard.

Single Suspension for OPGW

Single Suspension for OPGW

Suspension set for OPGW used primarily for straight-sided drop tower, or less than 15 º line tower connection. Clamp screw from the inside and outside the two pre-twisted wire, hanging head and supporting the composition of connecting fittings. Clamp grip strength is greater than the tensile strength of fiber optic cable rated 10% -20%, for the transfer axial loads, and distributed radial compressive stress, better protection of fiber optic cable, to avoid the phenomenon of bending stresses and stress concentration.

Suspension set for OPGW with the Suspension has excellent fatigue resistance, the power cable can also play a supporting role in damping.

Immobility Clamp

The quality of immobility clamp varies from the thickness of flat steel (the basic material for immobility clamp) and the thickness of galvanizing coating. The flat steel we use is 4*40 or 5*50 as customer request. Our galvanizing coating thickness is about 100um, which is better than the standard requirement (85um). The thickness of the galvanizing coating will affect the RTS value, stability, and anti-corrosion. Thin and uneven coating will result in rust. Some manufacturers may use thin flat steel and thin galvanizing coating to reduce the cost.

Double Suspension for OPGW

Downlead Clamp

The downlead clamps support the OPGW (optical ground wires) from the upper part of the tower to the splice box. With proper installation of the downlead clamps, it offers sufficient strength and spacing without destroying the cable.

The clamp can establish a massive cable range owing to its exceptional design feature. This ensures it lowers the stocking requirement of the client when handling enormous cable diameters. The adapters in steel tower clamps ensure there is no drilling.

The clamp comprises four attachment portions that boost versatility when dealing with lattice towers, steel poles or wood. Also, the device has a 6-8 feet normal spacing. For the application of OPGW or ADSS, all urethane products can be used for flat or curved pole surfaces.

Hebei Boersen Photoelectric Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. is a professional new technology enterprise which develop, exploit, manufacture and sale Preformed Fittings Equipment, ADSS & OPGW Preformed Fittings, Electric Preformed Fittings and Electrified Railway Fittings.

Strain Relief for Wire & Cable Protection

How Is Electrical Cable Strain Relief Created?

There are various ways to install or incorporate a cable relief connector. For most electrical and mechanical connectors, the strain relief components are incorporated as part of the connector, however, there are times when this is not the case. The relief can also be a separate component that is installed at the connector or separate metal connectors and securely grips the cable and protects the cable and / or connector from potential damage. At AerosUSA, we offer a wide range of electrical cable strain relief solutions so that you can always find the one that best meets your needs.

Choose Quality Strain Relief for Cables

Make sure you’re getting electrical wire relief that’s known to perform reliably over the long-term. At AerosUSA, we supply Progress® and Syntec® cable glands with integrated strain relief. We choose to offer relief solutions from these leading brands so that you’re assured quality and performance.

Strain relief solutions from Progress® and Syntec® are known for their toughness and strength. They are available in nickel-plated brass, stainless steel, high temperature, EMC shielding, ATEX, multiple sealing, ULTRAflat, pressure balance, ASTM approved firewall safety and polyamide for selections to fulfill your application needs.

Make the Most of Your Investment

While you always want cable strain relief connector options that deliver quality and durability, you also want solutions that fit into your budget. At AerosUSA, we offer cable strain relief solutions at competitive prices, ensuring that you can get the performance you need but at a price point you can afford. This service will help create value for your business, and it also ensures that your projects can be completed both on time and under budget.
